AAK Hydraulic Cartridge Counterbalance Valve Equivalent to SUN CBBA

This week, we’d like to introduce a Hydraulic Cartridge Counterbalance Valve equivalent to SUN standard part CBBA.

Counterbalance valves with pilot assist are meant to control an overrunning load. The check valve allows free flow from the directional valve (port 2) to the load (port 1) while a direct-acting, pilot-assisted relief valve controls flow from port 1 to port 2. Pilot assist at port 3 lowers the effective setting of the relief valve at a rate determined by the pilot ratio.

In the year of 2022, a new customer from Turkey sent us inquiry for SUN model CBBA cartridge counterbalance Valve, 10 pcs for trial order and 100 pcs for annual order. After we quoted the price, we were advised that the competition in Turkey market is very fierce, AAK price is too high. That was not the first time that we received this type of feedback from Turkey customers, so we did not expect to receive any order from this customer.
