Arbor Cosa Nostra Snowboard 2018

We know that shredding bottomless pow is OUR thing, and if it's yours too, you'll be very happy aboard the Arbor Cosa Nostra Snowboard. Brought to market last season to commemorate 20 years of building beautiful wood-topped snowboards, the Cosa Nostra is a fully directional arrowhead-tipped mini-swallowtail that lives for the deep. From the sublime Paldao Power Ply topsheet to the super fast sintered base, the Arbor Cosa Nostra Snowboard is a unique powder tool that belongs in your quiver. Rocker Type The System Rocker – This rocker deck's design eliminates the leverage required to release and re-engage a snowboard's outside contact points. In translation, riders get a seamless turn initiation, better float in powder, and more fluid spins and slides. Flex Flex: 8 (1=Soft, 10=Stiff) Shape Arrowhead Tip – Exceptional float for powder-specific pursuits. Directional Swallowtail – A 2 cm stance setback combined with a directional shape provides you with a surfy ride in deep snow. Directional boards also give riders ample control and stability when dropping through chutes or landing big airs at high-speeds. Grip Tech Contact Points – Two Grip Tech contact points placed under the back foot add edge control and stability, while allowing the front foot to remain loose and surfy. Tapered tail Core Single Malt Core – Arbor's standard wood core, made from 100% sustainably grown poplar for highly reliable return and long-lasting durability. Laminates Mixed Glassing – A triax over biax lay-up that's best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps and more. Sidewalls 360° Rails – Fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability. Base Sintered Base – A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed. Topsheet Paldao Power Ply – The Power Ply works like an added layer of fiberglass. During construction, the natural wood or bamboo fibers are turned into a composite layer inside the board.
