1.What Is Concrete Canvas? Concrete Fabric Canvas is a flexible, concrete impregnated fabric that hardens when hydrated to form a thin, durable, water proof and fire resistant concrete layer. It is the original concrete on a roll before hydrate. 2.Characteristics of the Concrete Fabric Canvas Concrete Fabric Canvas allows concrete construction without the need for plant or mixing equipment. Simply unroll and position Concrete Canvas, and then just add water (any type of water, including sea water). Concrete Fabric Canvas has no impact on the pH of runoff water. Concrete Fabric Canvas is widely used as a cheaper alternative to conventional concrete. Compared to traditional concrete solutions, Concrete Fabric Canvas is faster, easier and more cost effective to install and has the additional benefit of reducing the environmental impact of concreting works by up to 95%. It is available in bulk and smaller batch rolls. 3.APPLICATIONS ①.Ditch Lining Concrete Fabric Canvas is rapidly becoming the ditch lining material of choice for engineers and contractors around the world. Concrete Fabric Canvas is typically 10 times faster to install than conventional concrete solutions, with installation speeds of up to 200 m2/hr possible with only a three man crew for a longitudinal layup. ②.Slope Protection Concrete Fabric Canvas is increasingly being used as an alternative to non-structural shotcrete to protect slopes from surface erosion caused by weathering, surface run-off and environmental degradation. In certain applications Concrete Fabric Canvas can be used as structural slope stabilisation by combining it with steel mesh and soils nails (see the Concrete Fabric Canvas User guide for more details). ③.Bund Lining Concrete Fabric Canvas can be used for hard armour capping of earth bunds around petrochemical tank farms, munitions depots and flood defences. Typically installation speeds for bund lining are approximately 800 m2/day with a 6-man crew. Concrete Fabric Canvas Hydro may also be used in this application. ④.Vent Walls Concrete Fabric Canvas can be used as an alternative to brattice cloth, plaster board or concrete block-work to construct blast and vent wall structures for underground mining applications. Trials have shown that Concrete Fabric Canvas typically provides cost savings of over 20% compared to conventional solutions. ⑤.Outfalls Concrete Fabric Canvas has been used worldwide as an effective method of preventing surface erosion and scour associated with water run-off from culverts outlets, spillways and over-toppings. 4.Data And Specifications Desinged using life 50 years Width 1.6m or 2m Length 5m - 12m Thickness 10mm Weight 15kg/m2 Compressive Strength 40Mpa/m2 One 20GP Container Load About 1300m2 Ex work time(10000m2) 7 working days ①.Setting Working Time 1-2 hours subject to ambient temperature. CC will achieve 80% strength at 24 hours after hydration. ②.Method of Hydration Spray the fibre surface with low pressure / high volume water until it feels wet to touch for several minutes after spraying. ③.Notes ▲ CC cannot be over hydrated and an excess of water is always recommended. ▲ Minimum ratio of water: CC is 1:2 by weight. ▲ Do not jet high pressure water directly onto the CC as this may wash a channel in the material. ▲ CC can be hydrated using saline or non-saline water. ▲ CC will hydrate and set underwater. ▲ CC has a working time of 1-2 hours after hydration. Do not move CC once it has begun to set. ▲ Working time will be reduced in hot climates. ▲ CC will set hard in 24 hours but will continue to gain strength for years. ▲ If CC is not fully saturated, the set may be delayed and strength reduced. If the set is delayed, re-wet with a large excess of water. Excavation Set up the construction line in accordance with the design requirements, both sides of the ditch need to be flat, and there must be no virtual soil and emptiness on the slope in the ditch . It is necessary to tamp the parts of the water disaster, remove the debris and gravel in the slope, tamp with Panax notoginseng lime soil if necessary, or seal it after grouting reinforcement. It is required that the treated part is stable. ③. Laying The material can be laid vertically and horizontally. Please be sure to smooth the base, otherwise it will affect the appearance quality! ④.Seam treatment 1. A concave with a transverse width of 10 cm and a depth twice as deep as the cement blanket at the stacking pressure of the two adjacent cement blankets. Place the cement blanket joint at the stack and flatten it. 2. Press the upper cement blanket on the lower cement blanket in the direction of water flow, and the superposition shall not be less than. 3. Apply sealant evenly at the joint. 4. Fix two cement blankets with Φ 5*38mm stainless steel screws. 5. Ditch edge treatment. The edge of the material is fixed on the edge of the ditch with rivets, and the superposition is also fixed with rivets. Just cover the edge of the soil.
