Anti Phenolic Yellowing Agent

COMPOSITION Sulphonic acid compound, anionic USES Protective agent against the reaction products of phenolic substances and nitrogen oxides responsible for the yellowing of PA articles during storage TECHNICAL DATA - Clear yellow liquid - pH value ca. 6-8 - Soluble in cold water PROPERTIES - Resistant to hardening substances and acids - Has affinity for the fibre - Prevents phenolic storage yellowing - Hydrophilic properties - Excellent wetting power - Does not contribute to thermal yellowing - No impairment of the light fastness APPLICATION The product can be applied in the exhaust or in the pad method. Discontinuous 1 – 3 % KFH pH value 3.5-4.5 In the exhaust method KFH can be applied in the last treatment bath, the time of treatment being 15 -20 min, the temperature 50° -70°C. Continuous 10-20g/L KFH pH value 3.5-4.5 drying temperature 120-150°C The pH value of the padding, resp. treatment liquor should be adjusted with a non-volatile acid, thus that the pH of the fabric after treatment shall be 5 - 5.5. Experience has shown that the liquor should be adjusted to a pH of 3.5-4.5. STORAGE If stored below 0°C, the product may solidify and/or change its consistency. After heating to 20° - 25°C and thorough mixing, the product can be used again without any problems.
