Matting agent for Hybrid Powder Coatings (K7233)

Jietonda ® K7233 Matting hardener for hybrid powder coatings Jietonda ® K7233 is a wax-free, synthetic resin based matting hardener designed for hybrid powder coatings to provide 8-40%(60°) of gloss. Powder Coatings formulated with K7233 has excellent impact resistance, surface hardness and scratch resistance. 1. Typical properties Appearance Fine pale yellow powder [visual] Chemical equivalent (g/eq) 300-350 Solid content (%) ≥ 98.0 [GB 1725] Herein described to be typical properties and do not constitute specification limits. 2. Characteristics  Excellent matting finish with fine smooth flow,gloss as low as 5% gloss(60°) .  Reaction with binder,much stronger film hardness and scratch resistance.  With reaction group,strengthen the film adhesion.  Wide range of applicability to polyester resins. 3. Use method & levels  Premix K7233 with other components of the formula before extrusion.  The use level is 1-5% by weight based on total formula, depends on the gloss required.  K7233 reacts with epoxy resin, the ratio of K7233/Epoxy is 1:2.3-2.5 4. Package & Storage  Packaging with PE lined kraft paper bags. Net weight 25kg per bag.  Store in temperature between 2-32℃ or cool dry place. Keep away from heat and fire.  Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
