About
Fouad Nicolas Trad is a French national based in Dubai and born in Lebanon. Fouad started his banking journey in Paris at Banque Indosuez in capital markets and corporate coverage. Then, founded and led for Indosuez a Lebanese financial company specialised in project finance and wealth management. Later, was posted in Bahrain to head the Financial Institutions Middle Eastern business of CACIB, the merchant bank arm of the French banking giant Credit Agricole. In 2008, Fouad joined BBE a pan-European commercial bank based in Brussels. Became CEO and Executive board member for 12 years developing Middle Eastern and African Trade Finance and Correspondent Banking business. In 2021, Fouad returned to Indosuez WM to lead the Private Banking Middle Eastern plateforme based in Dubai. Since 2023, Fouad is advising banks in Levant and GCC on strategy and development and is sitting as NED at the board of 2 regulated banks and presiding risk and remuneration committees.
