A good word puzzle gives you just enough information to make your next move. Wordle Unlimited follows that idea: guess a hidden five-letter word, study the colored tiles, and use what you learn to choose your next guess. When a round ends, you can start another whenever you like.

HOW WORDLE UNLIMITED WORKS

You have six attempts to find the hidden word. Enter a five-letter guess and check the color of each tile after you submit it:

1. Green means the letter is correct and in the right position.
2. Yellow means the letter appears in the answer but belongs in a different position.
3. Gray means the letter is not in the answer, subject to how repeated letters are handled.

Each guess should narrow the possibilities. Suppose your opening word reveals two yellow letters. You now know those letters belong in the answer, but neither can stay where you first placed it. Your next word should move them to new positions while testing other useful letters.

The aim is to make every row count. Guessing a word that ignores the clues may feel like another chance, but it gives up information you have already earned.

A SIMPLE WAY TO APPROACH EACH ROUND

Begin with a valid word that tests several common letters. After the colors appear, pause before entering another guess. Keep green letters in place, move yellow letters, and look for new letters that could complete the word.

For example, imagine you guess CRANE and the A turns green in the third position. Your next guess should keep A there. If R is yellow, include it elsewhere. You can then use the remaining spaces to test letters you have not tried.

Repeated letters need extra care. A word can contain the same letter twice, so one tile’s color does not always tell you everything about that letter. Read the whole row before ruling out a possibility.

WHY UNLIMITED ROUNDS CHANGE THE EXPERIENCE

In a daily word puzzle, one difficult answer can leave you waiting until tomorrow. Wordle Unlimited lets you play another round straight away. That makes it useful when you want a quick break, but it also gives you room to practise.

You can try different opening words, compare how much each guess reveals, and see whether your decisions improve over several games. Some rounds will end in three guesses; others may take all six. The satisfying part is tracing how each clue led you closer to the answer.
